More action from our junior players yesterday as Robert and Ryan both played for The Boswells School Under 15’s teams in the preliminary round of the National under 15’s Cup. Robert played for the ‘A’ team which qualified comfortably for the next round. Ryan played for the ‘B’ team, which comprises mainly of under 14 boys who are given the experience of playing up a year early. They narrowly missed qualifying after losing 2-1 to the Danes team from Herts though their coach was more than happy that they had won a set. Overall a great experience for Ryan who started first six and stayed on court for the whole day, despite being 2-3 years younger than his team mates ! Robert’s team will now play in the qualifying round on 26 March with a place in the last 8 at stake.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
