Junior sessions are for school years 7 to 13 (ages 11-18yrs old), boys and girls of mixed abilities all welcome.

2022-23 Season (Sept-May) – We plan sessions to run in half termly courses at Southgate School, Sussex Way, Cockfosters, EN4 0BL.

The primary ethos of sessions are to develop good volleyball skills, in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. 

Sessions will run in half termly courses during Term Time (Sept-May), all at Southgate School. The next courses are:

• Wednesdays 4:00-5:30pm – Years 7-9 Session (4 weeks 8/3-29/3/23 £21 limited 30 places available)
• Wednesdays 5:30-7pm – Years 10-11 Session (4 weeks 8/3-29/3/23 £21 limited 30 places available)
• Fridays 6-8pm – Years 12-13 Session (5 weeks 3/3-31/3/23 £35 limited 30 places available)

Interested participants are invited to show an expression of interest by filling in the club VK Registration Consent Form 2021-22 (please ignore wrong years, also applies for 22-23 season) and submitting it to juniors@vkbarnet.net.  These details will then be added to the club database and once a place becomes available, you will be informed. Places will be offered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis but priority will be given to existing club members (those who have previously attended club sessions).

Successful applicants will then receive a message giving the club Bank Account details and asking them to pay via Bank Transfer within 3 days. Only when this payment has been received will the applicant’s place be confirmed. If the payment deadline is missed, the applicant’s place will be offered to someone else on the waiting list.

Existing club members will have 1 week to secure their places, Waiting List members will be offered any remaining places after that.

Fees are payable in advance on a ‘half-termly’ basis so there will no longer be any cash collection on the door. All sessions in the half-term block must be paid for and there will be no refunds for non-attendance at any sessions by the participant for any reason except if the club has to cancel any session(s) for any unforeseen circumstances, in which case full credit or refunds will be available for the affected session dates.
